Default Windows off track need some help

hey guys, so i recently bought a 94 gs with 130k on it and a blown headgasket for bout 800 bucks. Now after going through the whole top end it runs GREAT. Time for some cosmetic issues.

It seems at the top of both front windows its actually splitting the upper trim portion away from the door, My assumption is that the windows are so off track that they ripped the top part of the door apart.

my question is has anyone else had this issue? and how did you fix it??? ill be tearing into it this weekend hopefully but wanted to check if someone already knew what was going on

thanks in advance!

are you talking about the black hard plastic trim that's on the outside? that'll have nothing to do with it being off track,

do the windows still go up and down as normal?

Mine do something similar as well. Sometimes I'll roll them up and they go back into place as normal, and occasionally it will actually roll up with part of the glass outside the door all together. I'll try to get pics tonight as I am going to be working on it anyway. What's odd is there is less wind noise when the window goes up incorrectly, but I think this is due to ****ty weather stripping.

Also deknick, I sent you a PM.

no no no, im actually saying the portion the window generally slides into upon rolling up is peeling away from the door, its actually secured by plastic clips which are now broken from the regulator cord being all stretched out it looks like,.

man people sure abuse these cars, I will save it though,

So far ive had the whole top end, timing, wp etc all gone through with a new radiator

next is

4 new window regulators,

motor mounts

stock bumper so i can burn this ****ty Cyber front end and the fog lights that point into peoples second story bedroom windows as i drive by.

is300 seats + steering wheel

black cherry paintjob

ill try to post some before pics for you guys and some after once im done
