insurance questions
i didn't really know where to put it but since i have a 1st gen. Gs300 i figured i'd post it here. I just got it like a month ago and i went and got insurance like usual. They wanted me to pay for the first two months up front and i did. That was less than a month ago and just today i got a bill saying that they raised the rate by $70 and i have to pay the monthly fee by the end of this month? Does that sound right? I mean do they have a right to change a quote after i purchase the agreement? and if i already paid for the first two months why would i get a bill now? if anyone can help me out that would be greatly appreciated

It all depends on whether you had a price locked in for a specific amount of time or whether they reserved the right to raise the rates as they see fit.
Look at your contract. Is the price supposed to be fixed for a certain amount of time?
Additionally, what was their reason for the increase? Ask your agent these questions. Did you get into an accident since you got insurance?
Tell me what your agent says and tell me what your contract states regarding the premiums. I'm in my second year of law school and had taken contract law, so I may be able to help you out.
If you don't have the contract, ask for it because it is your right.
