Default What springs do people use to lower their 1st gen GS?

Also, which shocks. And, since we are on the subject, shocks or struts?

Maybe coilovers?

Looking for something that would lower the car but would not take away (too much) from the ride comfort.

Thanks.

i would definitely recommend eibach pro kits........
i'm using these springs and it's even cut 1 coil all around...with
stock shocks. i know i'll be changing my shocks later on.....but
now, it's still gives a nice smooth ride.......even with 20 inch rims!

I haven't driven in other 1st gen GS's, but it seems to me that my almost new OEM springs/struts do not provide a dampening (or shock absorption) effect worthy of a Lexus. The ride is fairly soft, but I feel bumps in the road wich I pretty much don't feel in newer Lexi.

Any ideas?

I have Eibach Pro Kit also...not too low, just right.

I have KYB shocks all around. My stock shocks blew a month after I installed the springs, so expect to change your shocks with the springs.

Yep there is a problem, just make sure you have a good alignment shop cause it took me a few places to get it right.

Jmai,

Nah, not really new here I just post rather infrequently. I have some pics of my car which I will post soon. As soon as I find my upload cable for my digicam.
