My First Car! 1994 Lexus GS300
Hi, all! I've been searching for a car for a while now because I will be getting my license in November. I've been looking at cars like the 240SX, Prelude, Civic, and IS300 until I recently came across this.
The car only costed $2700 and as of yesterday, the car is mine! The previous owner was a smoker and when I first got the car, the interior was putrid. The car smelled like an ashtray. Most of the consoles were filled with cigarettes and ashes, so today, I vacuumed out the entire car and cleaned the interior. Currently, I'm looking for interior parts such as the original woodgrain trim for the shifter console, a few other parts (previous owner had replaced the originals with "carbon fiber" trim ) and also two front seats. If anyone has any idea what site to purchase them off of, please let me know!

Thanks, everyone! The body was just repainted by the dealer I bought it from. It has a few dents, but nothing too serious or noticeable. Car-part.com looks like it'll be well in my budget (student budget). One thing I noticed was that the seat belts in the back seats are stuck behind the back cushions. Would I have to remove the cushions to get to the seat belts? Thanks again!

So I removed the back seats and got the seatbelt out, but when I first lifted the bottom piece out, this is what I found...
Several hours later and going through a bottle of degreaser, I was finally able to get the filth out.

Welcome aboard! Just like you, I am a new member as well but not new to Club Lexus, this place have been a great help to me for a lot of issues that I would have a difficult time if not for the very helpful forums that we have here. BTW! Good choice on your first car.
