Exclamation No sound out of the radio 94 GS300

I need some assistance. I have no sound from my factory audio system. It was working prior to the a battery terminal breaking with a big spark. I think it took out the alternator too because I found it to be bad.
Anyhow, now I have no sound but the radio and cd changer all work. I am leaning toward it being the telephony transceiver and speaker relay but I can't locate it. Any help would be appreciated!!!

Bump
No one knows where that darn thing is? Also a previous owner installed and removed an alarm. Any ideas how to figure how to return wiring to normal?
Maybe I should just break down and buy the wiring manual...lol

Try checking the amp in the trunk. Or check the fuse for it

Checked the fuse, it's good. Not sure how to check out the amp itself to see if it's working.... any ideas? though I have checked and it is getting power. I would think if it's the mute then the checking the speaker outputs from the amp wouldn't work just like the amp being bad.

chuck the amp in the garbage and bypass it. i had the same issue. Couldnt figure out what it was untill i routed the wires straight to the speakers.

99% your amp is fried

After a while that stuff just gets phantom problems. Just spend the money and get your car rewired is my suggestion.

Strange thing though, when I tried to measure the impedance at the plug for the speakers all the speakers measured 0 ohms... Should be around 4 or 8 depending on the impedance of the speakers
