Exclamation 1st lexus :)

Hi guys and girls, I just wanted to do a quick introduction. My name is pat and i recently purchased a 1994 Lexus gs300. I've always love the 1st gen and when i found this 94 with only 120k on it, i knew i had to have it it's pretty much bone stock the only mod I've done to it is a set of D2 coils which gave the car a sexy drop, but need some wheels though cuz its hellasunk right now haha. Hi Pat. I am Matt. I've been here a long time. Your car looks clean and I think you started in the right place with your mods. Welcome to CL and the first gen and Lexus worlds. This forum is not all that lively these days mostly due to the age of the cars. Check the regional forums, car chat, and the clubhouse to get to know more CL members. I've been here close to 11 years and I also have a 1994 GS300 that I bought on January 16, 2002. It had 59,332 on the clock then (I am not that much of a geek, but that's what the bill of sale says) and it now sits in the lot at work with 211,239 on the odometer. I don't want to get rid of it and I am starting to think about stuffing an LS3 V8 in it just for fun.

Welcome to the GS world!

alright, over the 5 months of owning the car.. it has made some progress and here some pics!
I got me a deal on some 19s Rays (g35 wheels)



after 2 months of rolling on the rays, i decided it was time for something wider or more fitted so here come the new shoes (excuse the bad quality pics though)

they're alright.. i wish they were a little stiffer but i got em used from a local forum for a good deal.

I've been seriously considering getting a set of BC coils... not with the upgraded swift springs but not sure what rates I should get.

I've heard some good things about BC. My friend got em on his sc and he's dumped!! I thint 8k rear & 10k upfront should be good enough for daily cuz u still have the dampner adj to mess with..

do not get 10/8 (IMO)!

i recommend something stiffer.

Everything is out there this year, except the track day. Its at Texas World Speed way in College Station. That's far. Lonestar is not that far. Its only 45min outside Houston. It takes that much time going north to south.
