Default Looking for ideas where to mount gauges

2 - 52mm gauges, wanted to hide them a bit if possible was thinking on the ashtray area?

Looking for ideas, so please post pics of your set up

Mine used to live in the ashtray area


But as they were useless there. I moved them when I uprated from the AEM AFR gauge to PLX multi gauge

hey can you take a picture of where the speaker cover is on top of the dash? it looks like you got something else there instead of the speaker cover grill. was going to make my gauge pod there. I have a jzs147 also

They're flushed into pods in the garnish under the dash where the dimmer and TRC button normally live. it just requires a small amount of material removing behind the dash for clearance.

Center speaker has gone to make way for head up display projector.

i don t think my gs has that speaker cover on the dash,like that pod looks nice and clean mite make one two..

yeh only RHD aristos have that speaker cover. Details on your HUD please, im interested in doing something similar

I just bought some 52m gauge holders off ebay & cut the mounts off the bottom. The position in the panel is pretty much dictated by the mounting points for the panel just stay away from them. cut out a section to allow them to slot in, then smooth it off with fiberglass & spray matte black (I used a rubberized paint) Then offer it up to the dash & work out how much you need to cut away for clearance & your done.

HUD is the Defi VSD
