I can use an automatic transmission the GS300 98 onwards.
are compatible connectors and computer

If I understand your question correctly, you are asking if a 98-05 GS Gen2 Transmission will work in a 93-97 Gen 1 GS. Physically, I think it would bolt in place, but the electronics would be all wrong, I think you would need all the harnesses and the ECU to begin to make it work. Then there would be all the 'custom' connections to the car's harnesses and engine ECU etc. Not likely worth the effort or cost. A few 96-97s came with the first 5-sp Autos (and the SCs 4:27 rear gear...). That would be the easier swap but still may require some custom bits for an early 4-sp car. Hope that helps a little...
