i have a 93 gs300 that seems to have a shorted wire somewhere
when the radio is turned off u can still hear power goin to the factory sub, and when the radio is on it makes a high pitched whine noise that changes pitch when the airbag light on the dash flashes. the radio still works but lately after a while of driving the radio will make a couple loud THUMPS and then quit producing sound. if i cant figure out the problem soon im just gonna install a new radio, amplifier and re-run all the wires, and if that don't work then i give up lol if anyone could help me out someway I'd greatly appreciate it

if anyone could get their hands on the wiring diagram for every component in the stereo system that would be a big help
