Default GS3 NA-Turbo

Hey fellow club members i have a stock 94 GS3 that ive been thinking of doing a JZS147 swap. then i thought to myself why not just put a turbo on the 2JZ-GE i found out this can be done but to be honest have no clue on how to do it. It will be highly appreciated if anyone can provide me any tips on how to prep and mount a turbo onto the engine. i will post a build thread when im all prep'd and ready to mount the turbo with pictures n all i plan to have step by step pics for those interested in doing the same. so for now im just here trying to gather some knowledge on how to press forward on this build...

I was going to recommend clubna-t.com, but that board is down. you might want to get on supraforums.com and read, read and read some more; they have tons of info, but don't take kindly to newbies asking the same questions and not researching on their own. Good luck.

It's the same as running a na-t on an SC. I currently have a na-t setup for sale.

How much are you moving it for?

JZS147 is the chassis and the engine is 2JZ-GE for NA and 2JZ-GTE for the twin turbo. It may be less work to do the full swap at the end of the day. Just depends on the state of the TT engine. Also, a lot of folks I've spoken with emphasized the importance of of getting a transmission that can handle the extra horsepower. The stock 4 speed GS trans is known to have issues with much more than 300 crank hp. Just something to consider. It would be a huge disappointment to do all that work and tuning only to have the trans blow up.

I agree with link. Good news is that a 93-98 TT automatic is really cheap used. I've seen them for $300 or less.
