Default Replacement differential for my imported gs300

I have a 94 Toyota Aristo, real RHD with the factory 2jzgte. The other day I started getting a knocking in my rear differential. I pulled it off and apart to find the rod holding the spider gears in broke in half. However, the ends damaged the differential its self. So I need a replacement. Ive tried to research the difference between the gs300/sc300 and the gs300 imported Toyota Aristo. Truely I just need it back on the road, not worried about power or speed, just a daily. Any input on what I can interchange as a substitute for a differential would greatly help. I can get a 2001 gs300 entire differential for $150. PLEASE HELP and link me to a page that gives details on the differences and whatnot.
Thanks in advance

As a CT owner, go for the GS if you are concerned about this issue between the two.
