Default cams/ camgears for gs300?

Just wondering if there are aftermarket cams and camgears for our cars? Also what horsepower gain and $$$ would I be looking at?

Unorthadox Racing makes cam gears for our car. I think someone here at CL put them on their car. I think there is a 10-15hp gain.

Default CAM GEARS

sorry to say but you dont get 10-15 hp out of cam gears alone.
best combination wud be having a camshaft and cam gears, then you will get at least 15 hp and if you upgrade yr ecu, you might get another 10 hp from that.

i wz thinking of getting cam gears before. the ones that will work for 1st gen are from supra 1995 and up (non-turbo). JUN, HKS, UNORTHODOX cam gears will fit any 2jz-ge blocks. if you will only use cam gears, hp gains are very limited...........to say less than 10.

thanks for the info guys just wanted to get the gist of how much they cost. Seems to me like its not worth it. I was thinking that i would just get a set of hks mufflers off ebay for like $150.

Since I have had my car stored this winter and haven't driven it much when I do go to drive it everyonce and awhile the gears squel for few minutes and then it goes away. Is there anything I can do to properly lubricate it so it doesn't do that. I don't want to just shoot it with WD-40, is there something specific I should use?
