Default JDM VVTI transmission into 93 GS

as the thread title suggests I have a 93 GS and the tranny seems to be on its last legs, so my question is will the transmission off of a jdm vvti 2jzge bolt on to my non vvti usdm engine and will it work as it should also will it mount in my car with no problems. Any help is appreciated guys

Only thing you would have to check is the kick down. I believe the vvti are all electronic kick down where the non vvti 2jzge is mechanical.

Is there anyway to swap it over from the old transmission?

There is no provisions I know of on electronic trans for mechanical kick down but you could get a newer ecu but I feel that harness swap would be more money. Its the same trans so no real reason to get it over replacing your stock one.

I love it here. The weather is great most of the time and lots to do very close. Only bad part is Na cars are so slow here. You really have to turbo or forced induction.
