I just bought my brother's 94 Lexus GS300.

It's got error code 28 right bank main O2 sensor on it.

I looked at the engine, and I see two upstream O2 sensors. The car was made for California, so does that mean these sensors are actually toyota air/fuel ratio sensors? My 99 Camry has one of these, and they're more expensive and are not compatible with regular O2 sensors.

Also, which sensor is the right bank main? Is that the one closest to the firewall?

I have the same set up. They are not A/F ratio sensors but the are heated O2 sensors (4 wire) instead of the standard single wire O2 sensor. It is the sensor closest to the radiator.

Why does Rock Auto specify Ca Emissions for the O2 sensors?

What is different about them as compared to the Federal emissions version?

CA Emissions cars have 4 wire heated O2 sensors and the federal emissions cars have single wire non heated O2 sensors
