Not trying to be argumentative but there is no way you build that for less. I had ~$24K in my swapped GS300 with a Boost Logic Built Auto when I sold it for $11K. The V160 alone will run you several thousand along with the clutch assembly, tranny tunnel, clutch, etc. The turbo kit (looks like he is running a cast treadstone type manifold or an adaptor to the stuck manifold...which is no bueno) will run you ~$4K, fuel system is around $1K, and we can go on and on. That Titan intake manifold is $1200. There is a LOT of money in that car.

You figure 5-6k for just the trans (not the install, driveshaft, etc)
4-5k for that motor with turbo
1000 for the 6 speed LSD
1000 for coilovers
500+ for brakes
Already at almost 13k in just rough estimates on parts, not including the car, interior, etc... Easily would cost 20-25 to replicate

I have $35,000 in my build/swap and its fairly basic. Most people who swap just do the motor/trans and cheap out on everything else which will give you decent results but if you spend extra on completing the car with brakes, suspension, better turbo setup, etc. it will pay off in the end. I've completed some basic swaps for customers and drove them a bit and compared to mine I'm glad I spent the extra to do everything I wanted. Actually I'm about to drop another $10,000 to get to my 700hp level reliably.
$16,000 seems like a great deal to me.
