Optima battery for 1st gen gs300?

For whatever reason their web site recommends the Orange Top, which has the terminals reversed, for our car. I have the Red Top and it fits just fine with the booster tray which should come with the battery.

i have the yellow top. there is a problem though. The posts are at the opposite end of where the stock post are. so my ground and my positive cable are BARELY reaching. when i say barely i mean it. the battery has to be pushed all the way back towards the fuse box for me to even hook up both cable. if there is a jerk in the battery for some reason both my wires would become undone. also the yellow top battery is much shorter. so i had to bend the bar that goes across the top down a little to actually hold the battery in place.
