Did a full vacuum and recharge on my ac. The problem is my ac will blow cool when initially turned on but then goes hot. The system passed the leak test so it's hold the pressure, but there's no cold air. I was thinking fans maybe???? Or bad compressor even though it seems to work.

 

could be a compresser or your condenser or is freezing up

 

Yea i was thinking the compressor. I hate guessing. But my money's on the compressor for sure. Condenser I didn't think if that one.

 

Out on a limb here but could it be your water valve? This shuts the water from the engine filling up your heater core.... Just a thought...

 

U mean expansion valve right?!?! I don't think there's a way to check that unless I pull the dash?

 

the water valve shuts the coolant off to the heater core to make your a.c. colder even with it open your a.c. should work fine

 

Well damn, my heater works just fine. Ac blow cold for a bit but goes south shortly after. I'm gonna try and hook it up again and get some needle readings

 

Does anyone know what the little pressure line is under the high pressure line fitting for the ac? Is it possible to have 2 low pressure side lines?

 

No the air conditioner has a high side and a low side. There can't be 2 of either. If you could post a picture of what you are seeing that would be super helpful.

 

 

The top pic is the front of the car. The bottom pic is exhaust side near fire wall. Never mind the freon residue do to improper connection of the ac machine smh.but anyways I wanted to know what the low pressure line is under the high side hose.

 

You say your AC starts out cold and then goes warm. Over what period are we talking? Right away or 5 minutes later? I have lost the ability to post pics so I would have posted pictures of mine last Saturday. I don't see the extra line in your pictures you are referring. Could you draw a line to the part in question?

If you can post a picture of your water control valve. It is located on the back of the firewall driver's side, just inside the Master Cylinder.

 

does your auxilary fan work? mine went out and my AC did the same thing

 

I think I have a bad relay for my fan. The extra low side fitting is in the same pic with the big red H. It sits right in front of the condenser. I'll def check that water valve u were referring to aswell.when my ac is on it'll run cool for about 3 mins then goes hot. My compressor never turns off ethier. Which would point me 2 believe my fan isn't kicking on.

 

That fitting in the picture with the big red H IS your low side fitting. I'm not sure what fittng the second picture is pointing. I'll try and look tomorrow under the hood.
