Let's get a meet and greet going
Ive been seeing in other threads about a meet. Lets really get this going. I suggest meet in pigeon forge TN. Good travel destination. Casino in Cherokee. Good back roads. Bristol TN drag way does amateur drag racing one Saturday a month as well. Its only about an hour or so from pigeon forge. I know the area very well and could vastly help.

Wish I could go but that would be wayyy too far for me! Maybe some day though...
I was thinking what if we all headed to SILV (supras invade las vegas) some year, its 3 states away for me but one of the largest toyota gatherings. I'd like to do this in the next couple years when my car is reliable enough

KC would be a good place. A lot to do there and central to the country. Although it'd really depends on where the majority of people are coming from. Sadly it seems like opposite ends. TN, NY, WA, CO.

Only reason I mentioned TN was due to the broad spectrum of activities. Dollywood theme park. Cherokee casino. The back of the Dragon in deals gap. Bristol TN drag way.
Possibly even a beach somewhere? I would say myrtle beach but the crime rate is excessive right now. My accord club I was in we did pigeon forge every year. People from NYC. A guy from north Dakota. Few from Florida. About 25 of us a year.

We have our annual Toyota meet in a week here in Denver. We get about 40 cars or more. Pretty good turnout but a mix of everything. We get a good turnout of just mr2, sadly mine won't make it this year. It's almost finished. Good thing I have the Aristo as a backup.
Anyone else have a decent sized annual meet near you? We could all go to Cali for the big Toyota meet next year.

I've been to Toyota fest once. Took my 86 cressida 5 speed. Yup all the way from VA to CA. Meet up with a group of guys from the Chicago area and rolled on. It was before I was married too lol
If we do California im going to Toyota fest but by god im flying, im not driving it again. Lol

Excluding winter, I'd even drive my Supra. If you plan nightly stops every 800-900 miles max, is not too bad. :-) have plenty of music and a decent radar detector. Wait, you said VA? Lol

Yes sir. I hit i40 and met up with some guys from around Chicago and rolled on. We stayed around about 90 - 100 mph lol cressida didn't miss a lick. We stopped every 3 hours to stretch / eat. Stopped about 2 - 3 hours after sun down to wind down and sleep. About 8 of us had a convoy. Met up with a few more later on and rolled about 20 deep. Had 2 supra leading us then. Lol

I for sure think a Cali meet would be the "biggest" turnout considering how large the toyota meets already are!
I would definitely be down to try and make it next year.
