1994 GS 300, presently with 44,000 miles, all-stock.

I think this is the one I was bidding on and lost by only a few buck a few weeks ago!

Lucky dude!

I wanted to have a matching pair. And then I was going to sell my Gold GS that now has around 83K.

Take care of that car it will last a very long time.

wassup, just picked up my 147 at eleven o'clock tonight. I sold my ae86 less than 48 hours ago(expanding...---or, rather forming a family) and was wondering what offset rims will be flush with the wheel well on stock sus. '94 gs300 ? I saw a set of
HOSHINO IMPUL SILHOUETTE 17"
Width: (F) 8J (R) 9J Offset: (F) 35mm (R) 35mm
Typical Applications: 240SX RX7 MR2 Z32 350Z etc

I need offset advise... in both mm and + - .....I am shooting for 8 or 8.5 front width and 9-9.5 rear width.

I know they are not quite VIP material, but I just like the fact that replacement tires will be cheaper and the price is right for me on the rims...plus they fit the old school style I'm known for with my rims while not looking totally outdated.

three other things-when the steering wheel moves in turning off the car it clicks alot, the seat makes weird clicking sounds when moving down and back, and the passenger rear window seems to be having trouble going both up and down. I'm thinking as a past toyota tech just grease the window tracks with silicone grease, but I'm thrown off by the steering wheel doing it's little clicking thing. anybody got spares?

I dont know about those offsets. That seems really aggressive. I modified my lower crossmember in the front and the rear so I can keep factory alignment. So im being conservative.
Heres another thread about offsets https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=234169

hahajoey, what offset are you running ?That seems crazy to run a +20 with a 10" rim

i'd run 18x9 around a +30 and 18x10 +20.
if you wanna get crazy, roll the fenders and stuff..
u can run a 18x9 +20 and a 18x10 +10.
and depends on how low you go, it will "tweak" the flushness.
the more you go, the more the car will camber, you can only
correct so much of it. you know what i mean?
so if u rolled SUPER low, u can actually run MORE wheel..
versus if u just dropped it on springs(2-3" drop)

Sorry I missed that.

What do you think of a +35 on a 9.5 all the way around ? I dont want to stretch the tires or pull the fenders. Ill roll them, but keep in mind I have modified my crossmember to keep my alignment within factory spec.

what you can do is. run that 9.5 on a 35..
it'd be alright.

then add a 10-15mm spacer depending on how crazy u
want it to look, do you plan to roll your fenders?
what size tire are you gonna run on it?
im running a 245/35 on a 9.5
and i wish i went with a 235/35 on it.
what brand tire are u using?
Im running a 265/30 front and 275/35 rear now and I want to keep it that way with the 9.5's. I have nexus tires now, I might be going with the michelin pilot sports on the new rims. I dont want the tires stretched on. Ill roll the fenders but not pull them out.

If it makes you feel any better, I bought it from the dealer I work at, not eBay. It was owned by a proverbial "little old lady" who wanted something new. I happened to be the service writer for the car, so I knew its history.

Hi everyone...

Like the cat above me, I'm new to this place. 2 days ago I bought a 93 GS 300 with 82,200 miles, and could not be happier with it. I do have the dreaded door problem to fix, though, and also plan to reupholster the interior, then I'll probably put some shoes on her.

Can't wait to get it looking good enough to post some pics!

I used to have a 93 Opal White. I sold it while back, and just recently pick up 95 Diamond White Pearl which is a Touring Edition. I love 1st Gen GS300, that's why I'm back for 2nd time.

Lucky bastard How dare you curved that vehicle J/K
Anyhow, congrats on a great finds. That's extremely low miles for the year, and good choice of color.
