What type oil should i use to change Transmission Oil? I have over 100k on my car..

I just brought a 94 GS 300 and I would like to change all of the fluids. What type of oil should I use in my transmission I have over 100,000 miles? Is there some type of transmission kit ? Are they any filters to change? How often should i change the oil?

I hear alot of people talking about putting synthetic oil in there transmission. Whats the difference between synthetic and regular oil?

Also how many bottles should I buy?
