Could possibly be your valve cover gaskets leaking in the valley of the spark plugs. Need to be more exact though are you talking about oil on the actual spark plug threads or on the are where the plug wires go?

Sounds like he's referring to oil filling up the spark plug holes (ontop of the spark plugs?). Sounds like you have a valve cover gasket leak.

Yup. He now gets to remove the throttle body and install new valve cover gaskets. It's easy. good luck.

Valve covers basically fall off after the throttle body is out of the way. All in all the job is pretty easy. Be sure to give the throttle body a good cleaning while its out, get the excess build up outta the way.
