Default first gen GS300 or 95 legend coupe

Hello everyone. You all have nice cars. I was thinking about getting a first gen GS300 and I was hoping you could give me some info on this car as far as options and colors 93-97. The gs300, legend and 850 bmws are my favorite cars of the 90's. I have owned a 91 ls legend coupe already so I was thinking of changing it up with the GS300. The 850's maintenance is a killer. If I don't get the GS I will probably get another 94 0r 95 legend coupe. Any info on the car will be appreciated.

which color? up to you, man.......these cars lasts for a long time with scheduled maintenance.
i know someone here, i forgot, who has 175,000 on his gs and stil runs great. these 2jz-ge motors are very strong and reliable. avialable aftermarket parts are also around though some are quite not available here.

My friend has a legend coupe around 95 (last body style)..and he just bought a 99 GS 300. Both are nice cars... totally different though the coupe is much smaller, so you may want to consider how much room you want. Also, it is very hard to find a coupe of that make in good shape.. many have been run through the mud. He has had hardly any problems with the Legend (around 98K). Radiator and Bose System are the only problems i can think of. If you go the GS route, you should be happy as well, should get 200K no problem if the car is maintaned.. some have gotten well over 300K. A lexus tech told me he saw one with 600K (crazy right). Anyway do a search for any questions you may have, as they have already been discussed.

I can not remember the last time a saw a Acura Legend coupe in nice condition! That car has a cult following, especially when you get into the Type 2 arena. You could probably find a clean 96-97 GS a litlle easier, plus Lexus carries more cache than Acura.

Do you want a FWD or RWD? Don't listen to them about the 5-speed or whatever. The 4-speed auto is the way to go.

But, one thing you must do is get the CD player. The tape only option is not upgradeable in the Lexus without removing the headunit, even with the extra cache. j/k

It just so happened that an Acura Legend parked behind me today at school and I looked at the two cars right next to each other and immediately thought of this post.......How can you compare the two....the lexus is just sooo much more beautiful and classy.....I couldn't see someone actually having to make a decision between the two.....now the 850....thats another story theres one in my town in the Dominican Republic that is pearl w/ white leather-Bangin!......thats just my opinion though, you do what you want.
