question
I just bought a 93 Lexus GS300 and it needs a new water pump so when I went to replace it two of the screw holes don't like up so I can't get the screws on... Does anyone know what the problem is? I got the right part for the year, make, and model of my car. Any help would be great thanks!

Welcome to CL.
We also have a maintenance and a GS300-specfic forums for questions like this.

My first reaction, though, is that you may have the right pump, but do you have the right gasket? If the gasket-holes don't line up, it doesn't matter where the holes in the pump are.
