TRENTIMUS

I have a 1993 lexus gs300 my transmission will work perfectly sometimes and then sometimes it forgets how to shift correctly this is a completely random occurrence. it does feel like its not wanting to downshift when coming to a stop and it feels like it shifts from 1st to 2nd and 3rd very rapidly from a dead stop. when it is doing this I can leave my shifter in second gear and the transmission will shift smoothly from first to second and then back down to first when coming to a stop.this only happens when it is in drive and is a very random occurrence.from the research I have done I have come to the conclusion that either I have a bad solenoid or solenoids plus I have noticed that my kick down cable is possibly it of adjustment.anyone that has had experience with this or have had issues like this and got the issue resolved I would really like to hear from you. thank you
