Default picture request 96-97

hey guys. i have only seen 1 96-97 first gen gs. can someone show me a picture of a black first gen gs with the new rear lights?? also what are the changes besides the new trannder, beeping alarm, and rear lights/??

It has variable valve timing for a better torque curve.

If you don't find anyone with a picture of a black 96-97, maybe you can have someone photoshop a picture of a 96-97 to make it black.

i thought the vvti started in 98???

what is the vvti though??

I may be wrong, but I believe the 96-97 had VV T (variable valve timing) and the second generation has VVT-I (variable valve timing intelligent).

Can someone here confirm this.

VVT alters the camshaft timing to optimize the power of the engine. It won't increase higher peak output, but it increases the power in the mid rpm range. It works well for driveability because there is more power when you push down the accelerator part-way.

yo eric, so my car has vvti then?...i thought it started on 98 and up...

Jmai, my car is navy Blue, but I dont have any rear shots on the computer, the bad thing is, in darker colors, its hard to notice the difference. Since the bar that goes in between the lights is body colored (show up a lot better in lighter colors). Most people just that i half cleared my tails

from what i know vvt was 98 and up and vvti was 2000 and up
