Are we 1st gen guys more interested in the outcome of this install, than of the Iraqi freedom war, or is it me!! J/K, but we all seem to waiting on pins and needles!! Damn the cold Marcus, get your A$$ down to the shop!!!

To be honest, I am more interested in long term reliability than anything else!

I understand where you're coming from on the reliability thing, I'm assuming you can turn off the nitrous system if you don't want to use it? I don't race but there are times when, you know, I could use a little extra power.

It's funny how in this forum we are always breaking new ground as far as options for our cars even though they are up to ten years old.

Gee... some of you are out for blood! I know you are all eager to find out what nitrous will do for our 1st gen. I have not had the time to even begin.... I have read thru the instructions, but that is as far as I have got. Notice I said "Old Man" Marcus ??? That implies married, 4 kids, home to take care of, 4 cars to work on... spent 7 hours last weekend working on my daughters car! Was supposed to be a 45 minute job. Maybe I can tantalize you further. The 10 lb tank is quite large, the instructions say that a full 10lb charge will give you about 90 seconds of full-throttle adreneline rush, or 5 to 7 quarter mile runs. It states that you do not want to put the blue bottle in a hatchback because if the over-pressure valve blows, you fill the car up with nitrous... yes you might laugh the 1st few seconds, then you die from the extreme cold freezing your lungs! Wow what a way to go. Remember,,, patience is a virtue. Stay tuned.
