NA-T Tranny Issue
I have an NA-T swap in my 93 GS300. It is running AEM V2 with a built NA trans (not sure on which exact tranny as I bought it from a guy that had it in his NA Supra). Has a Protorque converter with a 2800 stall. The motor starts and run great! It's just when you put it into any of the gears where the issue starts.
The issues:
1. When I put it in neutral (even on flat ground or on jack stands) the car/wheels move forward
2. When I put it in reverse, I have to give it quite a bit of gas before it starts moving
3. Basically any forward gears the car is very sluggish. It feels like you put it in 4th gear and it is trying to go. The car basically can't get out of it's own way.
Anyone experienced this before? Is the valve body screwed up or tranny fully shot? Or does it just need some adjustments like line pressure?
I know the best thing would have been to swap in a TT trans, but with how much I got invested in this trans, I'd like to at least get it working.
