Default Diagnostics code 28 - should I change both o2 sensors on manifolds?

I've been trying to find info through search for a couple of hours but couldn't find exact info. My ecu shows code 28 which is for Main O2S. As I understand main O2 sensors are the ones on the exhaust manifolds? Is there a way to check if one of them is in working order or in this case I should just change both of them?

Thanks.
