Just an update. The car is working now. The ac compressor had a short but it's all disconnected until I get a new compressor. Still working out some little tweaks as far as comfort and smog but it's getting there

That's awesome! Glad you are making progress! How did you figure out the AC compressor was the problem?

thats very good.....

My car used to have the battery light constantly on even after i changed computer and installed a new battery....

i changed my cluster bulbs to LED but i changed em back.. after changing em back (i also changed battery clamps), i realized no more battery light....to verify the bulb was working.. when i tun on ignotion, the battery light is there.....

however..my ar idles like cam gears were changed when it start initially after being parked a while......
i realize that when car is idling extremely low the light dims n when i give it some gas.... it get brighter....
was told by a friend that an easy chaeck is to have car running and disconnect the battery....if the car shuts off then my alternator is bad... but if it continues to run ... im good...

what yall thing about that ?

**yes i fig my cam timing, ignition timig n tps are out a bit by the way....
when car REALLLLLY warms up it idles ok

THat used to work on cars without computers. Not so sure how it'd work on newer cars.
