please some pics of non-dropped first gens with 18's 19's and 20's....I can't decide
I'm in the market for some wheels now....and I can't seem to decide wheter I want 18's 19's or 20's.....I'd like 18's because they'd maximize ride comfort not to mention price, but will they look too small on my non dropped (which i don't plan todrop) first gen??......19's are so expensive that if I were to go with them I would might as well get 20's so I can say I have dubbs.....19's are also rare and carry more of a sporty rep than 20's. please post some pics to help me decide....thanks in advanced guys

Have you replaced your stock springs or shocks at any time? It might be lower than usual because the springs are sacked out...I've seen a JZS147 GS300 with newly installed factory springs and it was pretty high. My '92 SC400's springs were sacked out so my car looked pretty low compared to other SC's that I saw (usually newer ones)

When I say "sacked out" I mean that the springs are probably old now so they don't sit as high as they normally would (when they were new for example....so since it's probably the original springs, and the car is nearly a decade old, it would make sense that the springs are sacked...I'm looking at the actual gap, not even the design of the wheel....
Either way, aesthetically, you lucked out...but if you got some new shocks and lowered springs (like Eibachs or whatever), your ride would probably be better than it is now...of course, coilovers would the best route...or they might make some aftermarket lowered shocks (so you're not running your stock shocks in a compressed state all the time) if you wanted to take the low fund route...

Get the wheels and tires you really want... if you have to save some to get them wait. If you get 18" then want 20" later it just cost to much and trying to sell your old ones is a pain in the butt too.
So many to choose from good luck

I believe that I did get the LUCK and did not luck out. I am happy with the height and happy with the GREAT rims that came with my car. I don't need to do anything aftermarket to achieve what others try to by lowering there car. The gap between my tire and the well is very good for being "sacked out". IMHO

Yeah, I have seen quite a few GSs that sit lower than normal due to a "older" suspension. I hate the fact that those guys get a "Free" drop, because the car probably does not ride too bad!! Damn U Brian!
