Steering wheel auto tilt away switch
I have a 94 that has the auto tilt button and I love this feature.
We picked up another 95 GS300 but it does not have this button and having the steering wheel move every time is VERY ANNOYING!! Not to mention just another part that is going to end up breaking on this car.
Is it possible for me to simply swap in the switch and have the functionality work without having to do anything?

I believe only the 93-94 had this feature. You may need a scan tool or have the dealer turn this feature off. Maybe there is a fuse you can pull, but you might lose the manual adjustment of the wheel as well. Easiest way I can think of is to just set the wheel where you want it and pull the fuse.

I don't see any particular fuse that will ONLY disable the tilt wheel function. I know which one to pull to disable ALL of my power windows etc.
Is there any wire I can pull or snip so that the wheel simply stays put? I set it to all the way back and all the way down. I opened up the steering column cover but couldn't see anything that would obviously disable it.
