subwoofer install
I just got the factory sub (didn't have one in when I bought it) and was looking to put it in, but I can't figure out how to get the grill off. Looks like it just pops out, but I thought I'd ask before I start breaking things.

honestly, I didn't do any of my stereo work myself, but I believe that their are either clips, or you pull it from the trunk. Regardless, this post has been done a million times, all you have to do is do a search.
Good luck,
Kareem

Good thing you asked before you started breaking stuff....
Som on this forum have gone that route and pulled the grille straight out... but when I had to replace my sub, I had to take out the rear seat first. It's a pain in the **** to do, (well, it was for me anyway =P)

yeah, good thing you asked first.. if you tried to pull that grill off you would have messed up. Chances are the clips in the grill are dry-rotted from the sun and would have broken.. and that's not how you take the sub out anyway.
You will need to take out the back seat. Start with the lower portion (where you put your butt). Just pull upwards on the front of the seat near it will pop out with considerable upward pressure. Then you will need to take out the back portion of the seat there are around 4 screws at the bottom of the seat. These will be exposed when you remove the lower portion. next the rear deck cover will is held by some clips pry up those and slide it forward. The brake light will come as well it is attached. the sub is now exposed.
