hey lads,

I'm looking to find out will the seats from a 99' shape GS, fit in to our shape 1st Gen shape. I have a 91' Aristo and I can get a set of 2nd Gen leather seats but I'm hoping to find out is there any piont in buying them first.

The seats are different... if your seats needs new leather there are 2 websites that sell the kits to recover the seats.. they come precut and presewn. it is a DIY.. normally the kit is $675 full leather but for our car it is a little more i forgot the exact price but around $860 will get you a kit for both front seats, the entire rear seat all four headrests and the center console... along with shipping and install kit. There is a thread here in the 1st Gen section all about this a few months back. Try a search

of both front and rear seats to match my dashboard which is dark brown. my driver side is starting to show some cracks so might as well replace them. i've seen someone done this here in CL but cudn't remember who it was. im also including the front and rear headrests....

this will run me close to $500!!!........pretty good price!

Yeah Indy... i know what you are talking about i was thinking about doing the same thing myself... The links i listed and do that as well... You can order the kit in two-tone and it doesn't cost more. They even have Ostrich and Reptile skin inserts so you can floss like the Cash Money Millionaires.. LOL
