Hey guys,
Yesterday Jmai22 drove my car and I drove his. The first thing i noticed was that his brakes are very Sensitive. You barely touch it and it applies the brakes. When I brake, I really have to step on it to stop.
I replaced my brakes a few months ago and have driven less than 2k miles.
Do any of you guys have this problem?
thanks
Bryan

SouthernSunGS,
Check the brake fluid level. I believe it could be full, which is too much. I've done that on my SC400, after replacing the pads on all four corners the brakes felt like crap and I had to really step on it. After draining some fluid, to the full level, they were back to normal.

Thanks for the advice. I will look at the manual for the precise location, but in the mean time does anyone know the approximate location of the brake fluid?
Thanks
Thanks

Jmai22 has the breaks I used to have which squeakedd. They were the autozone red pads which were very harsh for my car..
Am I the only one who has this mushy brake problem?
Thanks

Could be your booster or master cylinder. Are the brakes just soft or does it always take a lot of effort to get the car to stop? Does it ever gradually lose pressure while you're pressing down on the pedal? Is the fluid real dark and dirty looking or does it look pretty clear?

When i brake it feels like I have to step more than an inch till it starts slowing down. I don't think it has ever lost pressure as the more I step, the more it stops...
I'm going to take pics of it tomorrow of the fluid.. It appears dark.. so we will see what's up. Thanks Leets!
