Originally, the 10k Davins were hot. Now, they sell 20" spinners for about 2k from some company no one heard of before. Now, for $800, you can just buy the spinner and tack it onto your rim. Now Davin makes WOODWHEEL spinners.

We drive a LEXUS. It gets ALL the attention in the world. Why do you want a windmill on your car? Does it produce electricity to make your car faster or something? Rims should ACCENT your ride, not be the MAIN ATTRACTION.

It's like a beautiful girl with big ***** all hanging out. You don't notice her face, just her *****.

I see em in Atlanta from everything to 600 Benzes to GS 400/300s to Old Caprices ready to be put out their misery.

It's like wearing a suit with some red pro-wings.

I both agree and disagree. It all depends on what the vehile is intended for. I don't think spinners are appropriate for the vehicle one drives to the office every day, but they wouldn't be terrible on the truck you drive to the club on the weekends (if they're real).

Default They are hot.

1 SICKLEX is right.

It's the same deal as with the normal rims. Some people buy quality and others buy knock-offs just to
play the role. So if you've got the real deal on your ride and you drive by my hood, I'll give you props; but if you are driving through on some bull*****, I'll be the one pointing fingers and laughing at your dumba*s.

I agree with both 1Sick and Rover...

WACKED. Period.

I see them all the time now (well, the cheap ones) on all sorts of cars...I saw a set of add-on spinners on a BMW 745i (the new one) and I think the wheel underneath were LD-1's or LD-1 knock-offs...OF COURSE, the whole setup was chrome (as I can't even imagine someone who put this garbage on their car wouldn't have them in chrome) and the best part was that the spinners were SO CRAPPY, than when they were spinning, it wasn't even concentric! It spun like it was a lobed cam or something...what a pile of crap...of course, the tool that was driving the car was driving like he was some hardass "gangsta" or some sort of pimp....

The funny thing is, this is completely typical of the type of people that *I* see with spinners.

It reminds me of that commerial where the tag line is "Don't be THAT guy"....

I only respect the original Davins (without the WOOD), they have some pretty clean designs, etc. That being said, for the price of Davins, I would get some 20" Chrome Works, or Zaubers, some coiovers, and a some other stuff too. 8-12k for wheels and tires is ridiculous

I'm not a big fan of spinners... all right, I'm not a fan at all.

However, I know the guys at Davin, and you have to respect their originality! Dave is a creative genius.

Davin was the original- often imitated, never duplicated... BTW, the US Patent Office just awarded Davin Wheels a patent on the spinning wheel concept. Let the "Cease and Desist" orders fly!
Bye-bye Spin-Tech and imitators.
