You cannot lock the car with the remote, or with the botton when the keys are in the car. Don't know if that's your problem, but that's my 2 cents of help.

thanks for the reply. the doors lock fine but sometimes i'll go back to the car and find it unlocked. it doesnt happen all the time i think it has something to do with rain or condensation findin its way inside electrical system, or maybe something is wrong with the lock system.

we might have the same prob
I don't have anything valuable in the car except for some killer mix tapes so my attitude is usually @#$% it.
I don't see how the car could unlock itself without the radio signal from the remote key. Even if something is triggering the door unlock button inside the car that would set off the alarm, you know what I mean?
If you hit the lock button on the driver's side door *with it open* does it lock that door and turn on the alarm? Might want to lock it with the key instead.

any which way i try to lock the car being remote, from the lock switch or by key it still happens. the other day i was driving and the doors kept tring to unlock while the were unlocked like someone was pressing the unlock switch, so i try to locke them and boom they would unlock right away. the thing is it doesnt happen all the time for the past few day now everything been ok. i really think it has to do something with water gettin to lock system, either from the rain with window open or someway alse. and this dame TRAC lite has been comin on like every other day have no idea wats that about well anyway if anyone got any ideas let me know thanks

Mabye one of your doors is not fully closing or there's something wrong with the switch that tells the car it is closed.
Maybe the key remote got wet/damaged and it keeps sending a signal to unlock the doors.
