Default My New Mod.

Hey Guys,

Before I go on, I would like to thank Eric aka. Celsior Master for sponsoring me. hehe Thanks alot for hooking me up !

This LS400 Injen intake Filter fits on my car with the correct screws. After installing it, I can immediately hear and feel the rush of air into my intake. Driving home I could feel more power, deeper sound compared to before. The only way I can explain this is the feeling you guys get when you put your car on PWR mode.

Overall this is a very good mod and is pretty effective. Indypwr, mentioned that cone filters are very loud with an aftermarket intake pipe. I have a feeling that the geometries of this intake filter is which does not cause the loud noise.

Luckily a friend of mine no longer needs his Injen heat shield so I will get that tomorrow from him.

FYI: the filter is 1 month old and to be exact is an injen Hi-performance filter.

I would like to once again thank Eric, a fellow student and CL member who parks next to me everyday during summer school.=) hheheheeh

Glad you like the Injen cone, I had my doubts about the 1uzfe MAF fitting into the 2jzge, but it looks like a perfect fit.

No,
I didn't know, but now everything is straightened out and it looks good. Thanks for your observation.

The injen filter is so expensive though. I bought a generic intake with pipe, filter and all for like $38 shipped off of ebay for a 93 civic and I have the same feeling of performance i'm also making a heat shield. My intake filter is further forward, right up behind the headlight, there is airflow there. I have a pic on my site but i'll take a close up and post it tomarrow.

Sounds good ! BTW I can't complain, it didn't cost me anything.
