Default finally...

after searching high and low, numerous headaches, countless sleepless nights (well maybe not sleepless nights ), i finally received my headlights back from Japan today. i'd really like to thank {-.-} (robert) for offering to help me. he went waaaaay out of his way to help me get what i want, and i appreciate it so much. now i owe him a hula girl for all his troubles, but it's worth it .

Here we go...

Default Well one difference is..

that the JDM one has those cool little flares that protrude out on the sides....that's all I can really tell from the pics.

There's also the city light part for a special bulb on the side.

hey mischeivous: glad u finally recvd those lights.....i thought u got them arldy but havn't intalled them yet.
anyways, if you notice, there are extra bulbs that you need to connect. i think it's just another parking light feature. it uses those small bulbs, dont remmber what thy're called. i changed those tiny bulbs to white/blue ones to match my hid headlights. but once you turn "on" ur lights, you can't really tell much of it since it's not so bright. im not sure if you can change those bulbs to really "bright" ones but u cant try.
i connected those wire, just regular power and ground, to the side parking lights. ill try to post some pics soon. my computer at home is down rt now.

Here is Japan they call that little light. POSITIONING LIGHT. I nice small white LED will go good there. On my other car toyota (FUN CARGO) I put a small blue LED there. When the parking lights are on it gives it a little blue GLOW to it and when the headlights are on you cant even tell that there is a blue LED in there.

I have seen cars that make that light do some crazy stuff...... one it was a small strobe light. The other one was the bulb was diffrent colors or something cause the color in the headlights kept changing. The small flashing strobe was cool looking.

That was my first thought.... Over here if you want to put headlight strobes in you have to cut into your lights.

They have one that changes color everytime it flashes. red - green - blue. Its made that way the bulb. I saw those at the auto store but I dont remember how much they cost.

They also have one you put in your dome light that flashes those colors.
