I get about 17-19 miles per gallon (340-380 miles per tank).
It all depends on the driving, if I'm in the city most of the time
then it's 17. And if I'm driving from Connecticut to Vermont then
I get about 19 miles per gallon. I've never gotten anything more
than 380 out of a full gas tank.
I have 164,000 miles on my ride. I use sythetic oil only. And I change
my air filter, transmission fluid and coolant every 10,000 miles.
And I keep my tire pressure high as well, just like 93LexoGS300.
I run 40 psi in the front and 38 psi in the back.

I have noticed a few of you with lower PSI in the rear tires. Why is that the case? I am running 39 PSI all around right now....

lower psi in the back gives you more traction. there is more rubber touching the ground. your tires are more like this /___\ with lower psi. but with higher psi its more like \__/

Traction is one.
And balance is the other. The car is heavier in the front,
giving it more psi in the front - better weight distribution.

The problem is since I am running 295/35/19 tires on my rears, there is slight postive camber. Would you guys recommend that I let go 2 psi in the rears so I can try to wear off the outer parts of the tire instead of the inner? thx

Actually I think of it the other way around. The pressure should be around 35-38psi and I increase it in the front to 40psi to reduce the rolling resistence, and hence it take takes a little less power to accelerate. I've increased the presure in the rear tires but I didn't notice much of a difference, so I keep it at 36psi.

I also increased the presure in the front tires so that the car will tend to understeer (less traction in the front compared to the rear). I noticed that when my car is lite on gas, the tail tends to come around easier when cornering. Of course the car (1st gen) doesn't have the power to bring the tail around when it is understeering, but this is just my preference in handling.

My fronts are 37 and my rears are 36. Hopefully the ride will feel smoother..
