1993 GS 300
My LF (driver) window dropped half way. A local glass shop determined that the window regulator cable had snapped. The motor was said to be OK. They attempted to locate a replacement regulator (both new and used) but were unsuccessful, as was I when searching online. I did see something on a Lexus website called a window regulator "sub-assembly" (part no. 69802-30190) for a little over $200. Is this the part I need? Any suggestions for finding a good used part? Thanks.
I have found mine on Ebay, but it looks like I don't see any there now; so your best choice might be junkyards.. That doesn't look like the correct part, as in that isn't what breaks. You want something like this, the plastic tabs that hold the cable break and the window drops/cant roll up. This bolts to the sub assembly you linked.
