Default johnee78:

I picked the Tein's up for $1014.30 out the door. Just an FYI on the wait time, I ordered the HA's on 7/23/03, and just received the other day. Well worth the wait I have to say!

I am getting everything installed hopefully on Friday, that way I'll have them (wheels, spacers, and Tein's on for the meet on Sunday.

Oops, forgot to answer all your questions . I got them from Carson Toyota. Talk to Bobby Quintero, Steve Ganz, or Angel.

Why did it take so long? Japan has plenty of them in stock. Must of took the slow boat to the U.S. to save on shipping.

Gateway, glad your pieces came in!! Please do a write up of your impressions once they are on for while.

As far as Carson goes, Steve is great, I dont know Bobby, but stay AWAY from Angel, took me 4MONTHS to get a mispicked badge order fixed. I recommend Gordon in place of Angel. I called Steve, he passed it on to Gordon and i got my parts in 4days!!

yeah, I dealt with Steve through email and Bobby on the phone. He was awesome. He called me almost every week giving me updates on the order and whatnot. Also, he is trying to get me hooked up with a Greddy MX exhaust for my car. With him calling me every week or so, those couple of months actually seemed to fly by.

I will post pics, and do a write up on the ride letting everyone know what I think about them. I know that there was a lot of threads on the topic for 1st gens, but nothing that really helped me too much.
All of the 1st gen people that contacted me though PM's were the most help. You guys know who you are!

and {-.-}:
The springs did come by boat, but Bobby at Carson said that they ship a certain amount at a time, and that I had just missed getting my order on the boat. I really don't mind now that there here, but I was starting to get impatient after about a month I think I got a pretty decent deal on the Tein's.

Let me know what kind of deal he can get you. I may have a better deal for you here (locally). It is not EXACTLY new but it was only used for 1 day. Let me find out if it's still available.

I'll talk to you more about it on Sunday (at the Meet).

he said that he thought it would be around $600 or so. i haven't gotten a chance to talk to him about it lately. i'll call him tomorrow. So that exhaust was used for one day? im cool with that.
