Default 147 Mirrors w/ Turn Signals

I have been asked this ? before.

Toms Racing has a cover that goes over the mirrors for the GS 161 that I know of. I think the price is alot 28000 yen and its only a cover. Im looking for a used set of mirrors for my car then I will find someone or company to do them for me and it wont be just a cover. A VIP club member here had his done and it also has an LED that flashes to the gound. I never asked him where he got his done but I figure it cant be more then the 28000.

Folks are worried about taking off the mirrors they have now and sending them to get done. I feel the same way. If they come out nice then great if they dont I still have my original mirrors on my car.

Hopefully within a couple of months or so I will have this Mod done.

My friend found some mirrors for an JZS 147 (called me today). If I cant find some for my car I will get these mirrors done up and see how they come out.

Question for you guys; Do the mirrors on the GS, Do they fold in? Are they automatic? What years for the GS300 if they do? I didnt ask him if these do cause Im more worried about finding some for my car 1st.

The bad thing is I have seen 5 diffent styles of flashers for the mirrors and I cant make up my mind which I like better. also there are diffrent color bulbs and some w/ LED.

the mirrors do fold in, but they don't fold in automatically if thats what you want to know. they are both power mirrors meaning you can control the mirrors itself from a switch, but the entire unit does not fold in via a switch. i've been meaning to ask you some things, i'll e-mail you later on today .

Default mirrors come apart.

I recently had my mirrors painted and took them off myself . When I had them off the car I took them apart to get a better coat (even) of paint on them.Three pieces total. The outer, the front , and the mirror itself. Wasn't hard to do but very time consuming. Alot of screws. If you can get just the outer (back) piece, then all you would have to do is run a wire to your blinker + lead. It would look real nice and not that difficult to do.

The part Im worried about is cutting the back piece for the Blinker to fit in it. If I cut to much then I ruined it or the cut isnt straight. I figure if someone else messed up they own me a mirror.

Which country are you located in? Are you in Japan? Sorry if the answer seems obvious....
