Default Bomz Racing intake

Hey guys,

There is a Bomz Racing intake available for our cars. Do you think it would increase HP since the pipe is polished. The reason I ask is that our stock pipes look damn good already.

Thanks

I haven't seen this intake, but I think it should increase horsepower by replacing the stock intake piping, which has that little plastic box that reduces the size of the piping to a substantially smaller diameter so noice is reduced.

I think most 1st gen owners should look into getting an intake because it helps the engine really pull at high RPMs. This improvement by itself should gain 5-8 horsepower, but I didn't notice much of a difference between having a K & N replacement filter and a cone filter, except for more intake "roar" during acceleration.
