IS300 pedals work on a GS?
I think the IS300 has metal pedals. Would they work on a GS and can they be fit pretty easy?
(Dave I did a search and no luck)

Just couldn't sleep thinking about this one !
This is something I thought about for a long time but never got around to looking into it.
So after our 3 am conference call with Neo, Rominl and myself, we could not hold our excitement any longer; so we proceded to run outside and look at the IS/GS's at our disposal.
Rominl and I just fitted the IS brake pad to the GS and it fits like a glove.
The gas pedal is a different story. The GS pedal is hinged with a spring and the IS is not. We'll need further investigation to sort this out. In other words, we'll MAKE IT fit.
There is no foot parking brake on the IS since it utilizes a hand brake. We have a viable solution for this, but it will take some time before we can try it. If you think about it, you can guess how we'll try to resolve this one.
The dead pedal also looks promising, but well get some sleep for now and follow up with ya'll tomorrow.

AWESOME guys, thanks for the research! Park brake pedal with a clutch pedal perhaps?

From looking briefly last night, I think the gas pedal is potentially our only real challenge.
We'll take a look at it today under daylight conditions. It was way too chillin last night to mess with it. Good news for the brush fires in SoCal though.

I was wondering the exact same thing...would the pedals fit...even asked the Lexus dealer and they had no clue...thanks for researching this and let us know how the dead pedal and parking brake turn out after you fuss with the gas pedal...

A little progress
The NorCal group is quite busy with the pending release and sale of the Meet DVD and the initial set up of our local website. You can imagine how much effort it takes.
The only progress we have is on the parking brake pedal. The clutch/brake pedal on the manual IS is a little bigger than the parking brake pedal on the GS. This fit mismatch can easily be resolved by fabricating a metal plate that is the same size as the clutch/brake pedal and attaching it to the GS plate.
We already know the brake pedals (automatic) fit like a glove.
So the only real challenge is adapting the gas pedal. All I can tell ya at this point is it won't be plug-n-play.
