HAve had the car for 3 days now..noticed today that the sun was bothering our 8 month old.
I would like to get a screen or shade , motorized or manual for the car..
what do you guys recommend..

by rear window I mean the back window..not the side rear windows...

 

I recommend tinting. Check your State for tinting law. I had 20% rear (which is over the limit 35%)

 

I put on a manual shade I got off eBay - it was OK but one day I opened the rear side window and the wind dislodged the shade and the stick on lower mount came loose and I just took it down. My shade also could be mounted with screws into the deck but the problem there is I couldn't figure out how to get the rear deck out to mount it to. Looked like a major PITA.

I'm putting in an OEM electric window shade from an Aristo soon (hoped last week but work did not allow). Click here for more details. Not a cheap solution, but might be worth it.

I'd start off with tinting like mentioned before. You can do 35% in NC.
