End of an era - no more GS..............
Possible end of an era? No more Lexus GS for me. 
Here is my daily driver now (yes quite a few hundred steps down).

I cannot drive off without spinning the wheels.................. Still trying to get used to the stick shift and the ease with which it spins its front wheels.
The expression "no frills car" was invented for this car. Manual windows, doors and a stick shift. The only thing power operated is the steering wheel and the mirrors. Basic transportation at its cheapest!!!
Look at that wheel fender gap!!!!! Should I mod this car too?????????

The title is kind of deceptive since quite a few GS's have been going to the dealership in the sky
I think you might want to add "......till spring 04" or something like that!!

I hope Hameed meant end of a season.
As for modifying your econ-o-box I say nay, save it for the good cars. Like you said, this is just basic transportation.
I too just bought my winter beater, pictures soon to follow.

thats why you guys way up north need to come on down to south florida where its always summer and the gs is enjoyed year round . fun sun and lots of g strings around all the time ..
man i am soooooo glad i moved from the big apple , no more of that cold stuff for me

Sun, Lexus GS, and G-Strings!!!!!
Maybe one day, I will move South. I need to get my business off the ground and really busy, then I can move anywhere.
Actually what would be better would be to move South during our winters and move back up here in the Summer. Summers here are just perfect - not sweltering hot like NC this past August!
