2000 GS 400 or 2001 GS 300??

If they're the same price, get the 400. But, like cyberseano said, without more info, it'll be hard to help you out. You might also want to do a search. I know I've seen threads from potential buyers like you with the same dilemna. You may also find out what they decided and why.

You will need a V8 to pull your all the MOD and 19" or 20" Rims you put on the car after you bought it.... Trust me, I wish I have a 400 instead of 300 after I have my Work Rims installed.... Your car will move, still FAST, but not QUICK. Gosh, someone explain it better for me please!!!
Think of have a beer miester @ home, on tap, and think of GS400 power!!!
GS300 great beer, but you need a bottle openner to drink the good stuff out of it...
Nevertheless, either way you go, can't make a wrong choice...

I would get the 01 GS300 if it had NAV & ML system. If the 00 GS400 has Nav as well, then the 01 Nav is much better being DVD based, and with the ML system you get the best of both worlds. Now if neither car has those options, then go for the V8. Good luck

If he can get the GS300 for $5,000 to $6000 LESS than the GS400, well then yes he could Turbo charge the GS300 and be ahead of the game HP-wise VS the GS400 and he spent the same money.
Now if both cars are around the same price, then he could also Supercharge the GS400 for $5,000 in which the GS300 wouldn't stand a chance in hell in ever competing.
This is why we need to know the above, first set of questions I asked.
Also keep in mind, once you get a GS300 it's always going to be a GS300 no matter which way you slice it
Overall the GS400 has a lot more potential but again, I'm just a tad bias.
