Default No Radio Sound

Hi folks. Just had the rear main seal and cam seals replaced by Lexus. Got the vehicle back and my radio turns on but the speakers do not work (a very faint sound comes from each speaker with the volume turned all the way up). I purchased an aftermarket Kenwood in May and it worked perfectly. Checked the radio fuse and dome fuse and both are good. Any suggestions?

thanks in advance

This is probably related to the stereo setup. Maybe the HU has a "gain" setting that's been reset... Did your radio stations get reset?

Do you have an aftermarket amp? Guessing no. Is this with bluetooth audio or all audio sources?

I have an after market HU and the factory amp and it’s all sources. I am thinking I may have a bad amplifier and hopeful I can just have it bypassed. I have found numerous and inexpensive oem amps on eBay but not sure how challenging it is to remove and replace

I believe the OEM amp cannot be used with any aftermarket HU. It has a very specific digital communication link (control interface) that cannot communicate with anything else. Your HU is probably connected directly to the speakers (bypassing the OEM amplifier) or has its own dedicated amplifier installed somewhere.
You need to remove HU from the dashboard and trace the routes of the audio output wiring harnesses.

Never considered that! Thanks for that suggestion. Worth a shot
