True, if price was pretty similar, I'd go for a used M5 in a heartbeat. Otherwise the GS4 is a great all-around luxury performance vehicle, but it's handling won't be close to a BMW M-series, unless you add some suspension modifications to it. If I were you, I'd try out a GS430 for a day or 2 and see if it will fulfill your functional needs and performance requirements before swapping over from the M3. . . Best of luck to you.

I would go for the GS because I know you want one. Plus I would sell my M3 if it were some kinda powder blue color or something like that. BTW you didn't tell the folks that you have the M3 with the SMG tranny. I heard that bad boy is a beast.

good luck and aloha from the warm side of the equator

Default Wait...

Why dont you wait for the new GS if you ARE going to buy a new GS, otherwise a preowned GS is a good deal..

Yes I know how to do the launch mode but haven't really tried it yet.

Thanks for the info all.

Hi98GS let me know when you sell your car and go 911 GT-2. lol Talked to Kaz and should be ordering VS-XX 19x9 and 19x10 with black painted centers for the M soon.

Default i think its great

personally, i think for the money you can't go wrong, and you have not stated a reason for getting rid of the m other than wanting 4 doors maybe, well for the money a new gs will last forever, never give you any problems, be totally practical, and still let you keep that image if its important to you, with minor mods the power will be there for you if its a must, the e55 and m5 route. well you could tt your gs and be eating these cars alive and prob still have enough money for a plasma tv. Just because its faster out of the gate doesn't mean it will cross the finish line 1st overall.
