Question? Would anyone trade for the IS 430? Would anyone buy the IS 430?

If Lexus did produce it. I have heard some people wanting a sportier car or one with a manual. The IS430 is tuned for 340hp with a 6-speed manual. Would anyone make the jump? Price? I would say 45k maybe.
Just wondering. Lexus is thinking of producing an IS 430 before the next model rolls out (IS 330). Since the IS 430 has a V-8, just wondering if anyone is interested. Also, since 45k is near the GS 300 price, would any GS 300 owners or future owners make the jump?

The interior of the IS is a little too spartan for my tastes these days. I would still spend the extra cash for a GS or SC.

if the question is replace the gs 4 the is430 than no...would i get it yes, but if i had 2 choose between my gs4 or my gs3 and the is430 i would stay with the gs..
my reasons would b style-, i love the gs style so much more than the is style and too many people have the same lights in the rear on different riced out cars...( not the is's fault , i know)
size-... too small 4 me i'm a big guy, (well not that big but big enough) the is300 is smal inside and outside and i love the gs look with 20's so much more than the is look with 19's

I would only jump on the IS430 if they updated the style and it does not look so generically japanese as the current version. The current version has too many Honda/Acura styling cues to it as well as those ricer style taillights
. I don't feel the current style is truly representative of what Lexus can do.
If the next version of the IS is more unique, or looks anything as good as the current GS, I would consider getting one, but would keep my current GS - simply because I think the current GS's style is timeless.
